Madalen was born and raised in the community of Abbotsford located just outside of Vancouver, BC. After meandering about she has settled in Toronto, ON where she recently completed a specialist degree in Art History with a minor in Philosophy.
Her passions are making Art, and writing about it also. She especially loves being behind her trusted companions: Yashica 124 Mat-g, Minolta Auto, Diana Mini, 120 Holga, Lomo Fisheye, Mamiya RB67, 4x5 Monorail, 3 home-made pin holes, and her most well-loved Pentax K100, the very one that was used to snap her baby pictures.
